Treadmills

I frequent the gym at the club to use the treadmills. Have you seen a runner?
Better yet, do you know of anyone training for a marathon?
People who run tend to have lean figures. My ex-colleague's goal was to participate in a full marathon. She ran daily, a little further each time in order to be able to go the distance one day. She had an amazing figure even though she had three kids.

I tried running outdoors, but often got caught in the rain. The resulting flu kept me away from exercise for weeks. (I fall sick easily when I get caught in the rain and take a long time to fully recover). That's why I decided to go for treadmills.

Manual treadmills

All the treadmills in the gym were powered by electricity. I never gave that much thought since I'm not paying the electrical bills anyway. Then came a blackout. All the treadmills could not be used. The exercise bikes were manually powered so I used one of those instead. I couldn't help thinking why couldn't the treadmills be powered manually?

Today, I just found two manual treadmills.

If you are getting a treadmill for home use, these would be wise investments. You get your workout indoors and don't have to spend money or waste the earth's resources on electricity to power the treadmill.

Here are more treadmills.
