Shopping At The Body Shop

I've loved shopping at the body shop since I got my first paycheck too many years ago.
The concept behind The Body Shop - skincare and makeup and body products derived from nature - appealed to me. Plus their image for helping the less fortunate in third world countries through trade.

They have a good range of skincare products, essential oils, aromatherapy products and body care stuff. While my sister goes for their facial skincare range, I prefer their bath and body products and their essential oils. Their blended perfumes are okay, but my sensitive nose prefers natural stuff, plus the therapeautic effect of the essential oils. Occasionally, I'd buy their makeup, but somehow, the lipstick doesn't have the staying power I'd prefer. Still, the lipstick has a deliciously fruity scent that lingers on the lips, which more than makes up for it. The colors are closer to nature. Wonderful for that natural look and for women who look best in earthy colors.

The Body Shop offers quality products at still affordable prices. I love the packaging though and these make fail-safe gifts for office buddies, or a birthday where you really don't know what else to get. A trip to The Body Shop settles last minute gifts easily.
