Strawberrynet is my favourite online beauty store.

Why?

I love branded makeup and skin care but want them priced as low as possible and I hate paying for shipping.

A few years back, I decided to give Strawberrynet a try. For convenience, and for savings. I wanted to get a gift for my mom but was broke. They had brand name perfumes at 80% off the retail price and offered free shipping world wide as well as free gift wrapping and gift cards. I couldn't afford a gift like that from the mall, but at Strawberry, I could get mom the very best, so I did.

They sell perfume, makeup, skincare, the works from brands from France to New York to Japan. Clarins, Chanel, Christian Dior, Shiseido, Estee Lauder... these are just a few of the brands they carry. On top of that, they ALWAYS offer free shipping worldwide as well as discounts on most of their products. I figured I could get clarins skincare at around 20% off if I ordered from them and they would deliver it to the doorstep. On top of that, they would give an additional 5% discount if you buy 3 or more items in that single order, so I always made sure I ordered 3 items each time. I'd make a list of what I really needed and place the order when I had 3 items to claim that discount.

Strawberrynet has loyalty discounts on top of that 5% off, so with subsequent orders, on top of the online store discounts, the 5% of 3 items discount, you get an additional 1% - 10% off your order. I'm at the 7% discount level already, which gives me even more incentive to buy from them.

Shopping Suzy's advice for shopping at Strawberrynet.

Strawberrynet is located in Hong Kong. Every order I get from them comes from Hong Kong anyway, but the products are real as far as I know. I buy from the mall in case of emergencies and from Strawberrynet when I can afford to wait. I can't find any differences between the two, other than price.

For gifts, buying all your gifts for the girls (and guys) from strawberry will save you money and time. Time in that you don't have to spend the afternoon wrapping gifts. Each item in the order comes wrapped in silver paper. Ready for you to present to your family and friends. For the women, you can't go wrong with perfume. For best pals or sisters, full makeup kits from brands like Christian Dior would definitely impress. For the guys, cologne, or aftershave would make excellent gifts. Just stop by there, order your gifts and have them delivered to your home all gift wrapped. No parking headaches or jostling with the crowd. That's how I like my holiday season.

For yourself, you'd save a ton if you get your skincare and makeup from them. Be careful about the colors though as the shades look darker on the screen than in real life. Go to the mall, take down the exact names/numbers of the makeup shades you want (check out a few as Strawberry might not have your first or second choice) then go to strawberry and make your purchase. If you only need one or two items, pool your orders with a friend, or get something you'd need eventually, like a cleanser or moisturizer which you would use when you run out, then place your order. Take full advantage of the additional 5% discount. The prices here are listed in Australian dollar but you can select the currency of your choice to make shopping easier for you.
