At 14oz, the Siltarp2 is light enough to take on all trips. This minimalist tarp is an 8x10 ft rectangular made from waterproof nylon. The 30 denier parachute rip-stop nylon is impregnated with silicone for weather resistance. It is incredibly strong and resilient. The Siltarp2 has a seam down the center of the 8ft length, which provides extra strength but does require manual sealing with Silnet sealant (included). There is 1 lightweight nylon tie loop sewn to a reinforced center patch and 16 nylon webbing loops at 2 ft intervals along the edges.
